Wirecast 7 is available in both standard and Pro versions at $495 and $995, with upgrades starting from $179. The Pro version allows ISO recording of individual cameras. The streamlining of the UI may be the most important improvement, complete with a new shot editor and more options to toggle between shots, while eliminating some of the clutter of previous versions. Telestream includes a $99 application for free, Titler Live Express, which creates 3D and other special effect titles. If that fails it is possible the camera feed is coming into Wirecast but the shots themselves are no longer working. The simplest fix is to restart Wirecast with the Mini Recorder connected. The UltraStudio Mini Recorder must be connected before starting Wirecast. Once set, close the Utility, and open your Wirecast template. If set on SDI, click the circle button under the picture of the Mini Recorder, and select HDMI. If set to HDMI, proceed to opening Wirecast. Mini Recorder is Connectedĭouble check that your Mini Recorder is set for HDMI by opening BlackMagic Desktop Video Utility. If after restarting the Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup application still does not detect the Mini Recorder, try using a different Thunderbolt cable and/or Mini Recorder if possible as these components may be the issue. Next try restarting the computer without the Mini Recorder connected then plugging in the Mini Recorder. If the light is not illuminated then try unplugging and replugging the Thunderbolt cable. Next launch Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup and see if the device is detected by your laptop. If you see something similar to the image below then there is a problem with the connection between your Mini Recorder and your computer.įirst check if the white LED indicator light is illuminated on the Mini Recorder.
